Others are inspired by the physical energy they put in to the project for the pride they feel from the results. Unfortunately, these people face a lot of challenges in their endeavors. Sometimes it is taking a bit longer for the homeowner to implement change than they had anticipated. Other times they aren’t sure what designs they want or end up not having the tools they thought they had to complete the labor. Whatever the case may be, Lime Painting knows how to help the fixer-upper. 

Paint Makes Perfect

Fortunately, paint is just the start of what we do for interiors but it is what we do most. The quality of the paint we use is vital to our high-end clients so we try to keep it standardized. One of our biggest suppliers and allies since the start has been Sherwin-Williams. 

Sherwin-Williams partnered with HGTV in 2018 to create the HGTV Home series of paints and primers. These are super high-quality paints that make it easier for homeowners to select the shades they are dreaming of. In turn, they make it easier for us to provide the details they desire. 

Foyer Loft Project

The Johnson family consulted us to customize a loft space located over the foyer last year. They wanted a faux finish over a large textured surface. Our crew began by taping up the borders and covering the floors, furniture and railing with plastic. After a glaze over the walls and ceilings was complete, we started the finish. The Johnsons wanted the color to stay the same but needed that texture added. We went through trials to match and with the help of Sherwin Williams we were able to customize that exact shade.

The Johnsons didn’t want “ordinary”, but wanted it to look as if there was a drywall joint compound added. Our men carefully used a sponge to execute this look. We were aware that the texturing was going to take some time but when Mr. Johnson notified us that the home needed to be finished in a week for an event they were hosting, the heat was on. The job early and the client was thrilled with the color we picked out.
