Historic English Tudor Home Restoration Project

We were humbled to have the opportunity to serve our clients by restoring their 12,000-square-foot English Tudor home that was built in 1909. This home had a ton of paint & wood failure. We used 20 gallons alone of a high end primer, called Prime RX, on the trim of this home. We painted all of the trim, including the fascia, soffits, corbels, spires, windows, window casings, window sills, window muntins, tudor boards, gable vents, porch pillars, service doors & door trim. We also patched the stucco, & coated it with an Elastomeric coating, Loxon XP from Sherwin Williams. We finished the project a full week ahead of schedule!

What really sets us apart from the competition is our attention to detail, which you will notice immediately during your on-site estimate. We look beyond the obvious and look at every aspect of your home, in case there is other work that needs to be done that you may not have known about. The estimate we deliver to you is very detailed and thoroughly outlines the scope of work, along with any observations and our recommendations.

If you want a completely new look, but you aren’t sure what colors to choose, we have a professional designer that will come in for a color consultation to help you find a palette that you will love. If you already love the colors on your home, we can exact-match, even if you don’t know the specific color information.

The next differentiating factor is our preparation process. We spend a lot of time on the prep work to ensure that the substrate is properly prepared for new paint. This extends the life of the paint so that you get the most mileage out of it, and don’t have to worry about premature peeling or chipping. We use the highest quality paint and paint products available from well known paint companies, such as

Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore and PPG. High quality paint is longer lasting, has superior coverage and offers better protection over inferior products. As part of our “Going Green” movement, all of the paint we use is either Low- or No VOC paint.

We offer a 12-month warranty on exterior paint (as well as the manufacturer warranties), with an option to extend the guarantee up to 36 months through our LIME Loyalty Membership package.

We recommend repainting your home every 8-12 years, especially homes that are exposed to extreme weather conditions. Properly maintaining the paint on your home increases its value, keeps it protected and ensures it looks beautiful today, tomorrow and well into the future. Our goal at LIME Painting of Colorado Springs is to make your experience with us easy, enjoyable, refreshing, and deliver results that leave a lasting impression.
