Assessment: After painting numerous homes in the Hilltop neighborhood, LIME noticed a house that needed to Get Limed! So we knocked on the door and explained that the gutters were failing, leading to extra water time on the wood trim. On the north and east sides of the home, fascia boards had become rotted. This home also had a dull and faded stucco body that the homeowners wanted to refresh with a great color to protect it from being exposed to the elements.
Advice: Since this homeowner’s stucco was not in a state of distress, LIME was proactive in advising the homeowner to coat the stucco with a premium exterior paint—Duration by Sherwin Williams. Duration would create a water-resistant surface, offer a consistent color, and allow for proper adhesion to the stucco’s heavy texture.
