Bowmanville Bungalow Repaint Project
This traditional Chicago bungalow constructed in Bowmanville, Chicago in 1896 was resided with Hardie board during its life. The current owners were looking for a complete color transformation, and they succeeded!
Modern paint is self priming to Hardie board, so the focus of our prep was to ensure we had a clean surface to start with which we accomplished through a power wash. We scraped off any loose paint from the original Hardie prior to applying Duration from Sherwin-Williams for the siding and trim. We switched to Porch and Floor Enamel, also from Sherwin, for the steps and floor.
The entire project used Benjamin Moore colors which Sherwin matched:
The customers and entire neighborhood appreciated the transformation and our hard working crew to get it done!
