Hardie Board Repaint

Avondale Hardie Board Repaint

About This Project:

This Avondale project involved a repaint of Hardie board on both the home and the garage. The Hardie board had begun to deteriorate, so a fresh coat was needed to protect it for years to come. It also provided the opportunity for the homeowners to do a color change.

We used Duration from Sherwin-Williams in Peppercorn with a satin finish for the home and garage body. The trim was also refinished with Duration in Extra White.

For the garage top deck, we started by sanding the it down to a new profile. We then used SuperDeck solid stain in Driftwood to coat the deck and protect the boards for the next few seasons. We also redid the pergola in WoodScapes Solid Stain in Black Alder. The contrast between the two wood stains was a great choice from this customer!
