LIME was hired by new homeowners to do an interior lime wash of a new-build condo in Noble Square. The scope included lime washing the primary bedroom, primary bathroom, and the office.
This being a new-build condo, the surfaces were in fairly good shape and a uniform shade of white. We started with our standard prep of all surfaces to ensure a smooth and consistent finish. A couple of key areas were the ceiling of the bedroom and office, as they were being lime washed along with the walls. LIME Painting used Bauwerk Color, starting with their prep coat, for a beautiful finish.

We also did the trim in each area as well as the ceiling in the bathroom with Benjamin Moore products. The homeowners goal was to match the chosen limewash colors with conventional paint. To accomplish this, we worked with a local JC Licht to color match the Bauwerk colors and ensure a uniform look in all areas.
We worked with homeowners to ensure everything was done to their satisfaction. Lime washing requires artisanal craftsmanship, diligent work, and a keen eye for detail. This was done before their move-in date and completed within the week as they requested.
One final note on this project is that while Bauwerk makes a great product, they are not our preferred supplier given that they are international and can be subject to shipping delays and tariffs.
