A past client of LIME Painting reached out to do work on the front of their home as they had been happy with the previous work done on their back deck. The homeowner had always wanted to paint the brick on the front facade of their home as they had never liked the brick color.
LIME’s preferred product for masonry substrates is Loxon XP from Sherwin-Williams as it is formulated for masonry and has excellent durability. However, this did create a slight challenge as the homeowner picked a color from Sherwin’s Designer series which has no set formula. Fortunately, the store was able to get a laser read off of their sample chip for a formula.
The primary focus was the brick on the front of the home wrapping around the corners. The homeowner declined to do the common brick on the sides and back and kept the limestone window sills bare. Products and colors were as follows:
