Located in Parker, Colorado, the Colorado Golf Club first opened in 2007. Since that time, the club has hosted several prestigious events. The Senior PGA Championship was held there in 2010. It was also the site of the Solheim Cup in 2012. The latter, an international event composed of teams from the United States and various European countries, drew particular interest from sports enthusiasts from around the world.
