We had the pleasure to help this client restore & transform their incredible property in Somerset Estates. The stain had become extremely faded & discolored. There were several areas of mildew buildup that had caused the shingles to become very dark. We first used a cleaning solution to clean all of the shingles & remove as much dirt & grime as possible. After a series of samples, the client chose to put Tavern Oak, a semi-transparent stain from the Superdeck line from Sherwin Williams, on the shake shingles on the home. We painted some of the trim with Emerald Exterior. We also fully sanded down & re-stained all 3 hardwood decks around this magnificent property with Cabot’s Australian Timber Oil. Last, we sealed all of the endcaps & miter joints throughout the gutter system.
